A visit to Bruges without a boat trip on the Bruges canals is not perfect. Discover Bruges in a completely different way. You’ll sail through the entire city center with the swans at your side.
To start the boat trip, get on at one of five boarding points. The boat trip takes about half an hour and you will see some of the most beautiful spots between the beguinage and the Jan Van Eyck square. Throughout the boat trip you will hear your captain tell you some interesting facts. At the beginning of the trip they ask what language everyone speaks and so they choose the language that is spoken on the boat, usually English.
All boats follow the same route. In case of rain, umbrellas are available on the boat. The boats have room for 30 to 40 people.
You can ride on a boat between March and November. The months in between, the captains can choose whether they sail out or not. Reservations for a place on the boat are not necessary!
