Nomad
Nomad is part of next door hotel Portinari****. They have opened their veranda and terrace for non-guests who need a good breakfast/brunch in Bruges. Nomad has a very extensive menu with options for everyone. Gluten-free or lactose-free is also not a problem. They are open every day (except Sundays and holidays) from 9 am to 6 pm.
Kottee Kaffee
The coffee house is located in the heart of Bruges, in a quiet alley connecting 2 busy shopping streets. All products are fresh and form the basis of their extensive offerings. Here you can find all kinds of coffee and tea (also lactose-free options).
For breakfast, you choose between sweet (desiccated bread, homemade jams, and chocolate spread) and salty (desiccated bread, local fine meats, and savory cheeses). You then choose which additional items you want such as eggs, bacon or yogurt.
It is very nice that you can compose your own breakfast! Highly recommended!
Books & Brunch
Are you a big book lover? Then Books & Brunch is a great place to go. As the name suggests, it’s a brunch, so expect big portions!
In this cozy breakfast spot, you’ll be surrounded by books. While eating breakfast you may read any book, and have you found a book you like? The restaurant is also a used book store so your chosen book can be taken home, how fun is this!
A little tip for the Harry Potter lovers: You can drink the one and only butterbeer here!
Carpe Diem
The name “Carpe diem” or seize the day gives you an idea of how Stefaan and Virginie and their team want to welcome you. The inside of the building is a typical Flemish view with wooden paneling and stained-glass doors. But the inner garden is the eye-catcher of this restaurant. Cozy and beautiful can’t describe it!
The ‘Carpe Diem breakfast or pampering breakfast with champagne was already popular with many Bruges residents and tourists at the time of opening.
Matin Midi
Matin Midi is located right between the two main shopping streets. You can go here for Breakfast but also lunch and tea-room. Ready for a chic breakfast with bubbles? The Matin Midi menu has it all.
